The Sweetest and Most Important Sound

Dale Carnegie, in his book, How to Win Friends & Influence People, wrote that one of the ways to make people like you, is to remember a person’s name:

Principle 3: Remember that a person’s name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language.

I browsed my Facebook this morning, and it does feel good to read that ‘How are you doing, Borrys?’ in the update status textfield. Simple thing, and as Dale Carnegie wrote, but sweet. More service should put effort to have this kind of interaction with the users to make them like the service more.
