Users Don’t Care How Much You Know…

When someone remembers small thing about me, I’m always surprised, most of the people are. Thing like my name, or how many kids I have. A few days ago, I got an email from WordPress with this Subject: [WordPress.com] Items left in your shopping cart. I forgot what was in my shopping cart, but they, despite the intention to sell something to me, had surprised me by reminding me of that small thing, which made me feel that they care.

People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. -John Maxwell

User experience is strongly connected to how the users feel. One thing you can do to make them feel good about your app is to remember small things that people forget. For me, I like WordPress even more, and I’ve purchased items left in my shopping cart.
Good User Experience is good for business, isn’t it?
